ABOUT DRESSES AND SIZING

  • Are all of your dresses authentic and from the designer?
    • Yes, all of our dresses are authentic and we are an authorized retailer of the designers sold on our website.
  • What size do I order? 
    • We recommend looking at the size chart for the designer of the dresses you are looking at purchasing. The size chart will show you how to measure your bust, waist, and hips to determine your correct size. We recommend selecting the size that would comfortably fit all of your measurements. If you are in between sizes, we always recommend going with the larger size and getting alterations from a seamstress or tailor if needed.
  • According to the size chart I am a different size than I am used to wearing. Why is that?
    • Formal dresses are sized differently than other clothing you may be used to buying. We recommend following the size chart for the designer you are purchasing from. Use the size chart guide to determine what your measurements are for bust, waist, and hips.
  • Can I order a dress to my measurements or design specifications?
    • The dresses on our site are only available in the style, color, and sizes listed on the product page. At this time we are unable to accommodate special requests for design. Most dresses can be taken to a professional tailor or seamstress for alterations.

  • Do you have a catalog?
    • InstantDress.com does not offer a catalog. All of our styles can be viewed and ordered on our website.
  • What methods of payments do you accept? 
    • We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
  • I am getting an error message when I try to check out, why? 
    • Check out errors can happen when the credit card is entered incorrectly or the billing address does not match the information provided by your bank. Double check the information you have entered, and if you still have problems checking out email us at support@instantdress.com
  • Can I add or change something on my order?
    • Orders that are pending (it has NOT been processed for shipping) can be changed or canceled at no charge. If you want to cancel or change your order after it has been processed for shipping and your credit card has been charged, you will incur a 10% restocking fee. If the order has been picked up by UPS, we are unable to cancel the order and recommend you request a return when you receive the item. 
  • How can I see a dress in a color that is not pictured? 
    • If the dress is not pictured in the color you are looking for, email us at support@instantdress.com to request an image or description of what the color looks like.
  • How do I know what kind of fabric a dress is made of?
    • The fabric content should be listed in each of the product descriptions on the page where you can add the item to your shopping cart. If it is not there, please email us at support@instantdress.com to request the information. 
  • I want something that is out of stock! What should I do? 
    • We may be able to special order the dress from the designer. Email us at support@instantdress.com with the designer name, style number, color, size, and your event date. We will check if the dress can be made, and if not suggest similar styles to what you are looking for. 
  • Am I able to return my order? How long does it take to process my return?
    • Once we receive your return package, it can take between 5-7 business days to process your refund or store credit. All items must be returned in the condition they were received. Final sale items are not returnable.
    • If you would like an exchange and it is time sensitive, please let us know so we can assist you immediately.

  • How do I check my order status?
    • If you have created an account, you can log in and check your order status there. 
    • If you have NOT created an account, you can go to our Order Status Page Here and type in your email address and order confirmation number. 
  • When will my order ship?
    • Orders placed with our FREE 3 DAY shipping will leave our warehouse within 2 business days. We guarantee your order on your doorstep within 5 business days. If we fail to meet this standard you will be given a 20% percent discount on your next order.
    • Orders placed before 12pm PST with 2 DAY or NEXT DAY shipping will leave our warehouse the same day (Monday - Friday). If placed after 12pm PST the order will leave the next business day. 
    • This information does NOT apply to shipments going to Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico.
  • Where is my order confirmation? 
    • Your order confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided while placing the order on our website. It should arrive to your inbox within an hour of placing your order. If you do not see it, please check your spam folder for an email sent from support@instantdress.com
  • Do you have any store locations?
    • We do not have any store locations at the moment. All of our available dresses are viewable on our website. We have a return policy should the item you order not work out. Read more about Returns Here.
